译者的被动性

The Passivity of the Translator

本文从文化的视角探讨了译入语文化在翻译文本的选择、翻译方法的采用以及翻译语言的选择三个方面对译者翻译活动的影响,认为在整个翻译过程中,译者不可能摆脱译入语文化环境的制约,译者的被动性是客观存在的。

This paper probes from the perspective of culture into the restrictions which the target culture has on the choosing of translated text, the translation approaches the translator adopts and the language the translator uses in his or her translation, and comes to the conclusion that it is impossible for a translator to cast off the restrictions that the target culture brings , i. e. , the translator is passive to some degree.
