本文介绍了电子邮件系统的体系结构和工作原理,分析了JavaMail邮件技术的体系架构。在JSP和JavaMail技术的基础上设计了一个Windows平台上的基于Web的电子邮件系统,通过SMTP协议和IMAP协议实现了与特定邮件服务器的连接。

This paper introduces the system structure and working principle of the E - mail system. It analyzes the system architecture of JavaMail mail technique. A web email system which bases of the JSP and JavaMail technique is realized in the platform of Windows. The connecting between the system and mail server is implemented through the principle Of SMTP and IMAP. Also, the functions of mail to receive, send and manage as well as personal directory are realized by the system.
