Significance of promoting professional qualification certificate system and its contributions to practical teaching in higher vocational education

实践性教学是高职教育的显著特征,而职业资格证书制度是检验其实践性教学质量的重要举措和有效手段。对高职学生进行实践能力的培养,对其职业技能进行鉴定并让高职学生获得相应的职业资格证书一直是高职教育的发展方向和趋势。高职院校须充分认识推行职业资格证书制度对培养技术应用型人才的重要性,深化实践性教学改革,不断完善职业资格证书制度,发挥职业资格证书制度对高职教育实践性教学的导向性作用。

Practical teaching is one of the significant features of higher vocational education. However, professional qualification certificate system （PQCS） is the most important measure as well as an effective means which is used to test the quality of practical teaching. Cultivating the higher vocational students＂ practical ability to make them acquire corresponding professional qualification certificates is always the development direction and inevitable trend of higher vocational education. Therefore, higher vocational colleges should fully recognize the importance of promoting professional qualification certificate system in the cultivation of technical personnel. Meanwhile, higher vocational colleges should deepen the reform of practical teaching, improve the professional qualification certificate system constantly, and bring the leading function of professional qualification certificate system into play.
