Incompleteness and Uncultivatedness——On the Human Nature of Female Characters in Xiao Hong's Novels

萧红带着自己人性受到伤害的痛楚体验,在小说中表现了旧中国妇女人性的简陋、残缺与荒芜,既控诉了残酷、落后的社会性对女性自然性欲求的野蛮褫夺,又深刻地揭示了女性自身心灵的麻木与奴性心态,对社会形成强大的批判力量,为女性人性价值的实现作出了痛苦而又真诚的思考。

Basing on her sad experience of being hurt, Xiao Hong displayed the simplicity, incompleteness and uneultivatedness of the human nature of Chinese women in the old days. She not only denounced the uncivilized oppression of female sexual desire by the cruel and backward society, but also revealed the numbness and slavish mind of Chinese women. Her novels criticized severely the society and make painful and sincere reflection of the realization of the value of women＇s human nature.
