摘要
用辊压和模塑方法加工了超高分子量聚乙烯/短玻璃纤维(UHMWPE/SGF)复合材料,研究了它的拉伸和冲击性能以及断裂形态和方式。结果表明,拉伸时UHMWPE具有明显的屈服变形和塑性流动,复合材料拉伸强度随玻璃纤维含量增加而变大,而冲击强度的变化则相反;拉伸和缺口冲击断裂是以两种不同方式进行的,拉伸是‘次级断裂’而冲击则是‘撕裂断裂’。
Ultra high molecular weight polyethylene/short glass fibre (UHMWPE/SGF) composite are prepared with milling and molding. Tensile properties, impact strength, fracture morphology and fracture ways of the composite are studied. The results show UHMWPE has obviously yield deformation and plastic flow, tensile strength of the composite increases with increasing of SGF contents and impact strength of the compostie decreases with increasing of SGF contents. There are two ways of fracture for tensile and impact of the composties. Tensile fracture is ‘secondary fracture’ and impact fracture is ‘tear fracture’.
