In foreign language learning, all theories of SLA acknowledge the need for language input and output. However, the role or effectiveness ofthem in language acquisition is a controversial question. This thesis observes on the experimental researeh made by Rose- mary＇ Erlam to discuss the role or effectiveness of language input and output instruction in adults＇ foreign language learning.
