Regional Literature Echoing Spontaneously to Mainstream Literature from Jiang Lichang’s Prose Creation

在"岭西五大家"之前,清代广西散文创作亦有佳作,其中蒋励常的散文暗合桐城文派义法,开启了桐城文学在广西的自发创作。这种文学现象说明了当主流文学的创作主张符合时代环境需要时,地域文学在很大程度上会自发地附合上主流文学。

There were fine works of the prose-creation in Guangxi Province in the period of the Qing Dynasty （A.D. 1644-1911）. Before the Five Masters of man of letters in Guangxi were born, Jiang Li-chang, a pioneer master of prose-creation, his prose initiated the creation means and ways of prose-creation of the Tungcheng School in the Qing Dynasty and initiated spontaneously the prose writing. This literature phenomenon indicated that as the main literature creation is line with the time requirement, the regional literature will echo to the main stream literature automatically in time.
