摘要
以Fries重排法合成新单体,用单酚脱盐法制备了含刚性链段的联苯聚醚酮。经DSC、IR和WAXD对聚合物的研究表明,联苯聚醚酮(DPEK)与聚醚醚酮(PEEK)均属正交晶系Pbcn空间群,而DPEK的玻璃化转变温度比PEEK高约40℃。
The rigid homopolymers with biphenyl structure (DPEK where D represents biphenyl unit) were synthesized from monophenoxides by new monomers,4 (4 halobenzoly) 4′ hydroxybiphenyl, which were got through Fries rearrangement reaction, the general properties of polymer were studied by IR, DSC and WAXD. The results indicate that condensations proceed with very high para selectivity, giving crystalline polyethers with melting points at about 425 ℃. The crystal structures of DPEK have a close resenblance to that of poly(ether ether ketone) (PEEK), also belonging to the same space group (Pbcn) with the dimension of a=0.766 nm, b=0.606 nm and c=1.15 nm. DSC scans of DPEK show that the glass transition temperature ( T g) of DPEK is about 40 ℃ more than that of PEEK, which is used as high performance engineering materials.
