高职院校大学英语教学存在的问题及对策

Problems and countermeasures of college English teaching in vocational college

英语教学的效率问题一直是英语教师和社会公众关心的热门话题,高职院校的大学英语教学无疑也是其中的一个重要环节。本文指出了现阶段高职院校大学英语教学中普遍存在的三个方面的问题:学生英语基础相对较差、学生之间英语水平差距较大;大学英语教学如何体现实用性、应用性;以及多媒体辅助教学等方面。针对这些较普遍的问题,笔者分别提出了三个方面的对策,以期对提高高职院校大学英语教学的效率有所帮助。

Effectiveness of English teaching has long been a hot topic among English teachers, as well as the public. College English teaching is obviously a great part of it. The paper indicates three problems, which are very common in the English teaching of vocational college： students＇ English are generally poorer compared with four-year＇s studens; how to apply the principles of practicability and applicability; drawbacks of computer assisted language teaching （CALT）. Then, the author gives three countermeasures respectively for the problems, with the hope that it may be helpful to improve the effectiveness of English teaching in vocational college.
