Development of a Computer Network System Based on SYBASE for Library Administration and Service Automation

根据系统工程的理论和方法及数据库结构设计原理，采用客户机／服务器的体系结构，设计了一套基于SYBASE的在网络环境下运行的图书馆各项业务自动化管理与服务系统．在详细分析了图书馆应用环境的基础上对数据库的结构、用户界面和系统运行方式进行了合理的设计，并在提高系统运行效率方面进行了探讨．

According to the theory of the system engineering and the design principle of databasestructure, adopting the structure of client/server, a computer administration and service network system for library automation based on SYBASE is developed. Proper design of database structure anduser interface are suggested based on detail analysis of the application environment of the library.Useful investigation and study to improve the operation speed of the network are made.
