目的:解决RedHat Linux V7.1的中文显示和输入问题。方法:安装系统时,手工选择简体中文支持或直接选择定制类型中的"Everything(完全安装)",以保证系统启用RedHat Linux V7.1中内置中文功能。通过设置和修改系统配置和相应参数,并借助第三方的软件支持,达到中文显示和输入的目的。结果:系统使用中,中文显示和输入功能正常,没有发现系统兼容性问题。结论:提高了RedHat Linux V7.1操作系统的可用性。

Objective To realize the Chinese display and input in RedHat Linux V7.1 system, Methods When the system was installed, the simplified Chinese could be chosen manually or ＂Everything＂ among the Customization Styles could be chosen directly, which ensured that the Chinese function had been integrated into the system. The Chinese display and input could be realized by setting or modifying system configuration and parameters, and by the support of the third party software. Results The function of Chinese display and input was in the right way and there was no compatibility problem. Conclusion The usability of RedHat Linux V7.1 operation system has been improved.
