The state-of-the-arts of landslide monitoring techniques at home and abroad were summarized in this study. The objectives, contents and various techniques of landslide monitoring were introduced. By comparing the advantages and disadvantages of the traditional and current approaches, the developing trend and application of the landslide monitoring techniques are predicted.
