民族区域自治制度是马克思主义的民族理论同中国革命实践相结合的产物,但是,中国共产党对民族区域自治理论的认识是一个长期的、艰苦的过程。本文将这一过程分为三个阶段,并论述了中国共产党对民族区域自治理论的创新和贡献。

System of regional ethnic autonomy is an outcome which combines Marxist theory of nationalism and China＇s revolutionary practices. However, it is a long and harsh process for the Communist Party of China to realize the system of regional ethnic autonomy. This article divides the whole process into three phases, and it also says the cognition and innovation of Communist Party of China about the regional autonomy of minority nationalities.
