基于概念整合网络的幽默言语认知机制探究

Cognitive Inquiry on Verbal Humor under CIN Theory

幽默言语是人类日常话语中经常出现的一种语言交际形式。作为概念整合理论的核心,文章试以概念整合网络(CIN)为视角来探讨英语幽默言语解读过程中的认知心理机制。通过CIN的四种子网络与具体幽默实例相结合进行分析,探究其认知过程中的共性及不同,从而发现该理论对幽默言语同样具有很强的认知力,拓展了幽默研究的视野。同时,应充分认识到四种子网络间的一致性。

Verbal humor is a genre of linguistic interaction often emerging in daily conversations. This paper aims to probe into the cognitive mental mechanisms involved in the process of English humor interpretation from the perspective of Conceptual Integration Network （CIN） Theory. Associating the four sub-networks of CIN with humor analysis, the author pays particular attention to the cognitive process of the achievement of humorous effect and distinct features as well as the similarities of the four sub-networks. It can be concluded that CIN theory possesses its great explanatory power on humor.
