社会发展动力问题是人类历史永恒的话题。唯物史观指出,社会基本矛盾是推动社会发展的根本动力。中国共产党几代领导集体在坚持这一理论的基础上,根据我国的具体国情和生产力发展状况,不断对社会发展动力观进行发展和创新,形成了各具特色的社会发展动力观,即毛泽东的矛盾动力观、邓小平的改革动力观、江泽民的创新动力观和胡锦涛的和谐动力观。这些理论抓住了社会发展的基本矛盾,促进了我国社会主义社会不断向前发展。

The motive force of social development is one of the eternal themes in human history. The historical materialism pointed out that social basic contradiction is the basic power for social development. Based on this theory, several generations of leadership of our party have introduced the concepts of development and innovation to the theory on the power of social development.
