摘要
本文抽样专业英语四级考试1993、1999、2003及2007年四年的完形填空题,从考点因素和考点层次两个方面探讨完形填空题的考点效度,发现1993年的考点效度最高,1999年的考点效度最低,2003年的各考点层次比例接近合理的质量指标,2007年试题的考点达到了理想的效度;对词组层次考点定义理解的不一致是本文结论和周茜结论不相同的主要原因。本文提出应紧扣语境来命题,题目的语篇层次是保证完形填空题考点效度的前提;在专业英语基础阶段的教学要重视培养学生的语篇能力,提高学生综合运用语言的能力。
This paper reviews cloze test of TEM 4 in the past years and it analyzes its testing point validity from two aspects of testing point elements and testing point gradation. Some advice is given according to the findings of this paper. Cloze test is intended for testing students' comprehension ability in context. Cloze items must be deleted rationally to ensure testing point validity. Emphasis should be attached to cultivating students' ability of discourse analysis so as to improve their overall abilities.
