Perl Language and Its Application

Ｐｅｒｌ语言最适于扫描任意的文本文件，并可以从中提出并报告有关信息。本文首先说明了Ｐｅｒｌ语言的使用范围、特性和基本数据类型、语法，然后将Ｐｅｒｌ语言与常用的Ｃ语言进行比较，总结了Ｐｅｒｌ语言的优点及弱点，最后介绍了作者以Ｐｅｒｌ语言为工具所做的一个应用软件－ｈｔｍ１２１ａｔｅｘ，并说明了作者使用Ｐｅｒｌ语言的体会。

Perl is an interpreted language optimized for scanning arbitrary text files,extracting information from those text files,and printing reports based on that information.This paper first-ly explains the usage ranges、the basic data types and the syntax of Perl ,then Compares Perl with C Language,summarizes the advantages and the weakness of Perl and finally shows applying software-html2latex which the author programs with Perl,and what the author has learned from Perl.
