With advent of the Information Age and economic globalization, English envisions an even increasing importance, in the context of which teaching English in China＇s Western regions witnesses golden chances. Meanwhile, challenges reside. Accordingly, the author screens and detects seven main challenges confronting China＇s Western regions＇ college English teaching and probes into some measures to counteract the situations.
