美国是中国主要的贸易伙伴国和外资来源国之一,研究美国FDI对中美贸易的影响,有助于中国合理制定对美国的贸易和投资政策。文章从美国对华直接投资的情况入手,重点分析了美国对华直接投资与中美贸易的相关性及中国对美国出口增加的原因和中国从美国进口增加的原因,并从投资角度研究了中美贸易的发展潜力。

America has become China＇ s second largest trade partner and China has become its third largest trade partner, and it is now China＇ s major source of foreign investment. The research on the impact of American FDI on China-US trade will help China enact some reasonable trade and investment policies. This paper, starting from the situation of American direct investment to China, puts emphasis on the analysis of the relationship between American direct investment to China and China-US trade as well as the reasons for the growth of China＇ s exports to America and China＇ s imports from America from the perspective of American direct investment to China. And at last, it researches on the development potential of China-US trade.
