A Brief Discussion About the Internal Form of Word

研究词的内部形式对于研究词义的发展和演变、词典的编纂、语言的规范化都有很重要的指导意义。文章阐释了两个较易混淆的语义学术语——词的内部形式和构词理据,分析了词的内部形式的产生原因和过程,并对汉语中词的内部形式进行了分类。

By studying the internal form of word we can seek some rules of vocabulary development and that is beneficial for compiling dictionary and linguistic standardization. The paper explains the two confusing terms in semantic study：internal form of word and motivation, analyses the emergence cause and development of the internal form, and classifies the internal form of word in modern Chinese.
