摘要
JAMA杂志的办刊宗旨是：“促进医学科技发展，提高公共健康水平。这一目标的实现涉及重要生物医学研究和临床试验的发表。严格的随机临床试验（randomized clinicaltrials，RCTs）可为临床医生及其他相关专业人员更好地医治患者提供最高水平的有关治疗干预的科学证据，并最终改善公众的健康水平。为此，JAMA选择优先发表高质量的重要RCTs。
