释“侈”、“奢”——兼评《同源字典》列侈、奢为“同源”

The Intepretation on Chi(侈)and She(奢)——Some Comments about The Dictionany of Chinese Etymology which Defines Chi(侈)and She(奢)as the Same Origin

王力《同源词典》列"侈""奢"为同源。笔者通过对"侈""奢"二字的释析,认为"侈""奢"二字只属可通用,并非同源。言同源须同时顾及二字在形、音、义三方面的内部联系,不能简单地依靠音同(或音近)、义通外加书证而定为同源。

Chi（侈）and She （奢）were defined as the same origin words in The Dictionary of Chinese Etymology edited by Wang Li. After analyzing ,the author suggests that these two words, belong to mixed usage between them,but not the same orign. To define some words as the same origin not only has to cinsider the same （or similar） pronucition, meaning and examples in the classics,but also see about their relations among form,pronuciation and meaning been them.
