古陶瓷的分类是古陶瓷科学研究的主要课题之一,但至今还没有一个统一的、规范性的国家标准。集各种分类方法的优点和精华,并在对中国古陶瓷制造的原料、烧制的窑式、烧制温度、代表品种、工艺特点、外观特征、化学组成等"内在"质地和"外在"形态方面进行详细的归类、分析和比较的基础上,把中国古陶瓷各时期的科技发展内涵和时代信息结合、统一在一起,中国古代陶瓷被分为六大类。期望这种分类能为文物工作者及文物爱好者对古陶瓷的修复保护、断代和断源、科学管理、辨别真伪提供比较科学、可信度较大有效参考。

The classification of the Chinese ancient porcelain and ceramics is one of the main topics of scientific study about it, but until now there have no an united and normative national standard. Based on various advantage and essence of classified methods, and the ＂inside＂ quality with ＂outside＂ appearance of the Chinese ancient porcelain and ceramics ,such as detailed classification, analysis, comparison of raw material, kiln type, the temperature ,representative＇s species, craft characters, external characters ,chemistry constituent etc, it is divided into the six major types from Combining development content of Chinese ancient science and technology with the ages information together. This article is expected for the workers and the fans to offer great and effective reference about repair and protection, breaking a generation and a source, science management and recognized really false of the porcelain and ceramics.
