Competitive sports means is always the main content of school EE. teaching. There are not only many strong points in its practice, but also a lot of weakness. Based on the approving of the function of competitive sports means, this paper analyzes reasons of its contradiction and weakness so as to treat seriously the position and role of competitive sports means in school EE. The author finally outlooks the status and effects of competitive sports means in school EE.
