目前,交通拥堵已成为全社会关注的热点问题。伴随着交通需求的不断增长、交通系统的日益复杂化,采取先进的交通控制和交通管理措施已迫在眉睫。介绍ITS中可变信息标志VMS在动态交通流分配的应用,提出VMS的有效设置地点、信息显示内容、信息显示时间等建议。

With the rapid development of society today,vehicles and traffic has increased rapidly.And traffic problems have become hot issues to the whole society . Along with the traffic demand growing, the transport system is more and more complex, it is difficult to get the desired results relying on the construction or expansion of the traditional road. Therefore, adopting advanced traffic control and traffic management measures are imminent. This paper introduces the using of a dynamic variable message signs （VMS） in ITS in the distribution of traffic flow, and Put forward the VMS＇s the most effective location and the effective distribution time.
