SolidWorks软件是当前种广泛使用的三维设计软件,但它的文档管理系统适用于对大型企业及工程的管理要求,对于国内的大多是使用者及其单位而言过于复杂,在软硬件方面要求过高。为了建立一个符合国内广大中小企业及个人使用者的文档管理系统,对SolidWorks的API函数和消息响应系统作分析、探索。通过在SolidWorks中加入插件的方法,取得SolidWorks的内部消息响应,而对不同消息的分析感知到使用者所进行的具体操作,结合数据库技术,实现了从建立管理项目到具体的文档添加更新的数据维护,而最终通过数据库实现对文档的管理维护。

SolidWorks is a kind of 3D CAD software which is used widely now. But its PDM part is designed for large Enterprise. It is too complex for most user in China, and its requirement is too expensive in hardware and software. SolidWorks＇ API functions and message response system was analyzed to achieve a engineering documents manage software which is tally with Chinese engineering designer＇s custom. SolidWorks＇ inside message response is got through add a Plug-in software. Through analyzing different messages, user＇s operation is acknowledged. Combined with database technology, from creating project to inserting part is added to database. Finally the management of document could be realize through database.
