Electromagnetic Energy Density in a Dispersive and Absorptive Material

摘要 利用电偶极子和磁偶极子模型推导出电磁色散和吸收介质中的能量密度,并将该结论应用于计算左手介质中的能量传播速度,所得结果与实验一致. The energy density associated with an electromagnetic wave passing through a medium, in which both the permittivity and the permeability are dispersive and absorptive, is derived. The energy density formula is applied to the calculation of the energy transpost velocity in a left-handed material. The result is identical with the experiment.
