摘要
商务印书馆是近代出版业形成过程中文化经营与商业运作结合的成功典范。商务印书馆在早期成长过程中,有三个关键企业家——夏瑞芳、张元济和王云五,他们的创新活动为商务印书馆的快速成长和发展起到了根本性的作用。他们是早期商务印书馆的创新主体。对他们当年的创新经营举措与同期商务印书馆的成长进行对比研究,可以看出,商务印书馆的每次创新变革都带来了书籍出版种类和营业额的较大提高。尽管其增长的原因不只一个,但我认为,企业家的创新活动至关重要。这也验证了创新主体即企业家是出版企业创新并成长的关键要素这一论断。
The commercial press is a successful model of culture and business joint in the development of modern publishing industry. There are three key entrepreneurs-- Xia Ruifang, Zhang Yuanji, Wang Yunwu--in early growth of the commercial press. They are the innovator in early period of the commercial press. Analyzing the innova- tive activities carried by them and comparing the same time growth, obviously, every innovation brought a great devel- opment, of course innovation could not be the only reason, but I believe it must be the most important. The innova- tion-entrepreneur is the key element of publishing enter- prise's innovation and growth also been testified.
