The Pioneer Contribution of Liang Qichao to Anthropogeography——Talk on Liang Qichao's Theory of Geographical Enviroment

19世纪末20世纪初,中国经历一系列外来侵略,历次战争失败、时局动荡、科技落后等一系列问题摆在国人面前。许多知识分子试图通过引进西学,科学分析,从中找出中国落后原因,以期救治祖国。梁启超从地域入手,系统论述地理环境与国家发展、人群性格及学术文化之关系,并进行南北、中西之比较。梁氏对历史人文地理的思考研究是他留给我们的一笔重要文化遗产,于今依然有借鉴意义。

During the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century,China had suffered a series of aggressive battles.The Chinese people had to envisage many problems,such as being defeated in many every battle,roily current political situation,the science and technology was unenlightened etc.Liang Qichao,a famous Confucian,started with the zone,discussed the relation of geographical environment and national development,crowd character and civilization in detail.He also compared by China and the west,north and south.He has made the important contribution to anthropogeography,and it also gives us a lot of elicitation today.
