Monocyte-macrophage-derived foam cells play important roles in the atherosclerosis. The metergasis of overall protein is closely related with the occurrence and development of artherosclerosis. In this paper, recent advance in the research of the metergasis of overall protein are reviewd, and suggesting a new strategy for atherosclerosis treatment.
