As one of the most toxic man-made compounds known, Dioxins （polychlorinated dibenzodioxins; PCDDs） display distinct toxic effects in animal husbandry. In this article, a briefly discussion was made in the general structure of Dioxins, their toxicity effect in livestock and the prevention, the detection and analysis of Dioxins.
