摘要
对我国东北太平洋海盆铁锰结核开辟区(DY85-1、DY85-3航次调查区)的系统取样和对铁锰结核富集的沉积环境条件(地形、沉积物)的分析研究结果表明,研究区的各种沉积环境中的铁锰结核分布是不均匀的,具有较高经济价值的铁锰结核分布在水深5000—5200m、硅质粘土分布的海底丘陵地区。
The undersea photos of polymetallic nodules can directly and naturally show how the nodules are distributed on seafloor,can help know the coverage of nodules,that is,the percentage of nodule area in the background area,and make clear the occurrence of nodules.The undersea photos were processed by hand before,which was an inefficient method and couldnt get all the information contained in the photos.NIRS is a computer processing system of the undersea photos,by which a large number of photos can be processed efficiently,the definition of the photos is promoted and more geological information can be obtained from the photos. According to the processing results of the undersea photos from cruises DY85 1 and DY85 3,the photos have been divided into five types,the evaluation of the processing quality of the photos and the distribution of the nodules on seafloor have been discussed,and grab abundance can be evaluated and corrected by abundance estimated by photos.All the photos from each of the grabs during cruise DY85 3 clearly state that:buried nodules account for a little proportion of grab abundance,there are errors between grab abundance and the real abundance,grab abundance can be evaluated and corrected by abundance estimated by photo,after abundance correction most grab ones increase,in photos with coverage>10%(big,medium nodules account for some proportion)nodules have even distributions and after abundance correction,the eveness of the distribution in station area is promoted.
