从使用者角度看四川省输精管绝育手术应用下降

Views of Declining Trend of Vasectomy in Sichuan Province from Perspective of Vasectomy Users and Their Wives

目的:探索四川省输精管绝育应用下降因素。方法:小组访谈会。结果:共36人参加了访谈会(输精管绝育男子20人,输精管绝育者妻子16人)。研究发现输精管绝育应用下降与人口学的变化、计划生育工作模式的转变以及缺乏信息和宣传倡导等因素有关。结论:鼓励男子为了配偶的健康选择输精管绝育手术,强调由男子来承担计划生育的责任可能成为促进输精管绝育应用的有效策略,同时应重视绝育手术咨询能力的建设。

Objective： To explore the possible reasons for the declining trend in male sterilization in Siehuan province. Method： Focus group discussion. Results： Thirty - six participants including vaseetomized men （ 20 persons） and their wives （ 16 persons） attended the discussion. It found that the low use of vasectomy was influenced by shifts in demographics and program factors, the change of family planning working, lacking of information and advocation, and so on. Conclusion： It is recommended that to encourage men to have a vasectomy for the sake of their partner＇s, health and stress the men＇s ＂turn＂ to take responsibility for family planning may thus be effective strategies for promoting vasectomy use. Meanwhile capacity building of sterilization counseling should be attached importance.
