Viewing the Government-Choosing Office System of Han Dynasty from the Angle of "Recommending the Good and Able"

汉代的"举贤良"可以从思想、制度、人物三个层面进行探讨,从不同的侧面反映并作用于汉代政治。贤良不论作为个体还是群体,在汉代重要决策的拟定、选举制度、州郡设置、思想以及文教等领域中都有重要的建树。贤良与政治的互动,产生的合力是符合历史发展进程的,但其固有的弊病仍然成为后世的借鉴。

The system of 'recommending the good and able' in Han dynasty may be studied from the three fields which are thought,system and people.It reflected and acted on the politics of that dynasty.The good and able,no matter whether they were as individual or group,all made important contributions in the field of planning the important decisions,selecting system,setting up prefecture and county,thought and culture and education.The joining force produced by the mutual actions of the good and able was in accordance with the historic developing course,but its intrinsic evil is still the lesson for the following generations.
