The hot chamber die casting is a traditional die casting method, and there are several things that must be paid attention during the installation and operation of the hot chamber die casting machines. Three kinds of die casting AI-Zn alloys are compared in this paper; the chemical composition and mechanical properties of ACuZn5 and the requirement for melting, holding and pouring of die casting Mg alloys are presented; the usage of die casting dies, as well as the key points of operation during die casting process are summarized.
