摘要
将独立的Linux操作系统移植进USB接口的存储设备里并用于完成特定任务,是移动存储设备发展过程中在技术和理念上的一次突破与创新。由于USB存储设备不同于普通的硬盘设备,因而在USB设备上构建Linux系统具有一定的特殊性。本文详细分析了构建过程中,在定制内核、制作文件系统和配置启动管理器几个部分涉及到的关键性问题,并给出了相应的解决方案。
Embedding Linux OS in USB mass storage devices is an innovation technically and conceptually. With the OS, such USB devices can do many specifically tasks. USE mass storage devices are different from normal hard disks, so the process of porting Linux to USB devices must have something special. This paper analyzes several key problems encountered when customizing kernel, building root file system and configuring boot loader in detail, and presents corresponding solutions.
