The ancient village group Tangyue,which is located 15km southwest to Shexian County （the capital of Huizhou）, is an agglomeration featured by unique scenery and profound historical and cultural deposition. It boasts of its agglomerated settlement, architectural layout and construction skills and can be regarded as a typical example of the ancient village group in Huizhou. Except many common features shared by Huizhou ancient village groups, it also consists of some implacable characteristics and prominent values.
