A Few Strategic Issues in Strengthening the Dominating Position of Marxism in the Socialist Ideology

要强化马克思主义在社会主义意识形态中的主导地位就要运用一系列意识形态建设的策略。在意识形态建设中,我们不仅要关注意识形态领域中的思想斗争,而且要致力于把意识形态转换为物质生产方式和人们的生活方式;不仅要同虚假意识进行坚决斗争,而且要努力使意识形态成为"理性话语";不仅要注重意识形态的阶级性,而且要吸纳不同社会思潮的积极因素;不仅要重视国家意识形态的建设,而且要使国家意识形态成为大众意识形态。

To strengthen the dominating position of Marxism in the socialist ideology,we have to adopt a series of strategies in ideology construction,in which we have to not only pay attention to the thought struggle,but also change ideology into the material production mode and people's living patterns;not only fight against fake ideology,but also change ideology into 'rational discourses';not only pay attention to the class nature of ideology,but also absorb active elements in different social trains of thought;not only attach importance to the construction of national ideology,but also change national ideology into public ideology.
