As the distributed object management method appears, CORBA, which is a standard about distributed object management system.is suggested by Object Management Group(OMG) and has become a de facto industry standard. CORBA makes a important impact on the architecture and implementation of multidatabase system--a special case of distributed system. After introducing the concepts of distributed object management system and CORBA biefly.this paper puts forward a suggestive architecture for a multidatabase system on CORBA and discusses some problems about its implementation.
