Regulation of NeuroD in the Differentiation of Neuronal Cells

摘要 神经分化因子(NeuroD)是一种含bHLH结构域的结合E-box的转录调控因子,主要参与神经细胞分化过程和胰腺发生、功能维持。近年来的研究表明,NeuroD的表达受细胞因子调控或某些化学因子影响,同时与多种蛋白,如Brg1,AK1和Htt等共同调节下游基因表达,进而调控细胞周期和神经细胞分化进程。这些研究为NeuroD参与细胞分化进程,糖尿病和其他神经性疾病的发生提供了依据。 NeuroD is a basic helix-loop-helix (bHLH) transcription factor, which plays an important role in the regulation of neuronal development and genesis, and functioning of pancreas. Recent researches indicated that NeuroD, by working with other genes, such as Brgl, AK1 and Htt, regulated the transcription of some genes. Moreover, the transcription of this gene is regulated by chemokines and cytokines. These findings will provide a basis for the further study of the epigenetic regulation and etiopathogenisis of diabetes and the diseases of nervous system.
