海报作为联结体育、文化与艺术的桥梁,具有很高的历史和艺术价值,深受“现代奥林匹克之父”顾拜旦的推崇。1896年现代奥运会复兴之初,还没有供宣传的正式海报。奥运海报的概念于1912年瑞典斯德哥尔摩奥运会正式提出并付诸实践,自此奥运会的推广和宣传开始成为主办城市的重要使命。
From March 12 to April 27,the Museum of Liaoning Province ceremoniously held an exhibition,titled'The Poster Exhibition of Hundred-Year Olympics—Condensing the art of the whole world'.The 103 Olympic exhibits are carefully chosen,including the Olympic posters,books,admission tickets,tournament schedule,etc.Spanning from the year 1896(The first modern Olympic Games)to the year 2012(London Olympic Games),it has covered all sorts of posters since the birth of the modern Olympic Games ten decades ago.More than 100 pieces of exquisite posters have presented us an overview of the coherency on the world trend of art and printing technology,and a vicissitude track of sports styles and sports fashion over 100 years of the Olympic Games posters.Meanwhile,they also connect the century-old development history of the Olympic Games,which explains vividly to people about the great Olympic spirit and culture.
