高校体育教师素质包括身体素质、思想素质、心理素质、专业素质及人文素质等方面。我国高校体育教师素质中存在的主要问题有身体素质下降、教学模式落后、科研能力不强、信息素质不强等等,要解决上述问题,就要建立完善的体能训练指标、更新教师的教育意识、加强理论研究、重视新信息工具的使用。
