The Success of the United Front in Democratic Revolution and Its Implications for Current Society

新民主主义革命的历史时期,中国共产党领导的统一战线在砸碎旧的生产关系、满足先进生产力的发展要求中做出了不可替代的贡献。因此从这具体的历史史实看能否代表先进社会生产力的发展要求,推动和促进生产力的发展则成为判断统一战线成功与失败的根本标准,这一标准在当前社会转型时期具有重要的理论与实践价值。

During the historical period in the new democratic revolution, the united front under the leadership of CCP has made an irreplaceable contribution to smashing the old production relations and satisfying the need of productivity development. Therefore, whether the united front will succeed or not is only judged by its pushing and promoting the development of productivity viewed from the perspective of the concrete historical reality in which wether it represents the development requirements of the advanced social productivity or not. This criterion has an important theoretical and practical value in current period of social transformation.
