摘要
外语教学中"目的语文化"的导入已成为业界共识。但现行的英语专业教学中却几乎忽视了本族语文化(中国文化),于是在跨文化交际中屡屡出现中国文化"失语"现象。在文化全球化的背景下,外语教学不但要树立"知彼"的文化观,更要培养"知己"的文化意识。因此,中国的外语教学(特别是英语专业教学)必须补上中国文化这一课,才能使它真正成为传承中外优秀文化、提高学生综合素质、沟通中国和世界的桥梁和纽带。
The introduction of the target culture to foreign language teaching has been a consensus in the teaching field. However, na- tive Chinese culture is basically ignored in our English Teaching for English Majors.Thus,there arises the phenomenon of traditional Chinese culture "aphasia" in the intercultural communication. Considering this, in the tide of cultural globalization, it's quite necessary to not only foster the idea of "knowing otlrers", but develop the cultural awareness of "knowing ourselves". Therefore, Chinese foreign language teaeldng(especially ETEM) has to make up the lesson of Chinese culture. Only in this way,can it be the ideal approach to learn and keep the excellence of foreign cultures and ours,to eulmnee students' comprehensive qualities,and to bridge foreign countries and China.
