著名报人王韬一生做了三件大事:上书太平军,游历英法,主持《循环日报》——一张中国人自办成功的最早中文日报。他是其报言论的灵魂,风行一时。王韬形成了自己的办报理论与新闻思想,是中国近代报刊思想的奠基人。
The famous newspaperman Wang Tao had three main achievements in his life-proposing to Taiping Army,traveling to England and France,and presiding over the Circulation Daily,which is the first successful Chinese daily newspaper run by Chinese.Wang was the atman of the words of the newspaper and made it popular at the time.Wang had developed his own theories of running newspapers and his own thinking of news,and he is considered as the founder of Chinese modern thought on the press.
