The Research of Geography Information Data Service Based on XML and Web Service

分析了当前地理信息系统发展所面临的问题和由地理信息系统向地理信息服务转变的意义;介绍了Web Service概念、工作原理、特性和OGC基于Web Service的地理信息服务的框架;利用.Net平台为开发工具,参照OGC的地理信息服务架构,实现了基于Web Service的地理信息数据服务的原型系统.

This paper first analyzes the questions of current Geographic Information System development facing, expounds the transformation significance from Geographic Information System to Geographic Information Services. Then it introduces the concept, the principle of work, the characteristics and the frame of Geographic Information Service of OGC based on web service. Using net as development kit and referring to Geography Information Service Frame of OGC, the prototype system of Geography Information Data Service is realized on the basis of web service.
