摘要 本文通过对自主学习的理论基础、概念、以及自主学习中教师角色定位的分析,指出提倡自主学习,其实质是把对学习做出决定的责任与权利转向了学习者,也就是实现教师和学生权力的重新分配。面对这一挑战,英语教师应首先明确自己在自主学习模式中的所起的至关重要的作用,在教学过程中主动让权、放权和赋权,尊重学生的需求与个性,帮助学生树立自主学习的观念,给学生提供学习策略的指导,从而培养他们的自主学习能力。 Based on the introduction of theories, definitions of Autonomous Learning, and teachers' roles in it, this paper highlights the essence of Autonomous Learning lies in the switch of responsibilities and rights in the process of English teaching and learning from teachers to students, that is the rights redistribution between teachers and students. This paper then aims at a few tentative suggestions as to how context from the viewpoint of teachers: the teacher should be to promote Autonomous Learning in the current pedagogic aware of his or her importance in Autonomous Learning and take the initiative in giving over the rights of study. The paper in the end focuses on the necessity of strategy cultivating and approaches to it.
