On the Forming Causes of Peasantry's Political Apathy and Village Government in the Transitional Period

当前,农民的政治参与存在着一种较普遍的政治冷漠现象,这种状况将成为村民自治进程的障碍和困境。分析了农民政治冷漠成因,对于改善村庄治理,推进村民自治,构建农村和谐社会提出了一些建议性措施,希望能为促进中国农民更广泛和更真实的政治参与提供启示。

Currently, there is a common phenomenon of political apathy in political participation among peasants, and the situation will turn into the obstacles to the process of villager autonomy. Therefore, the author not only analyzes the forming causes of peasantry＇s political apathy, but also proposes some referential measures to improve village government, propel villager autonomy and build a harmonious society in the countryside, in the hope of offering some inspirations for the promotion of broader and more truthful political participation of Chinese peasants.
