英语专业学生跨文化语用失误及其规避研究

Research on English Major Students' Cross-cultural Pragmatic Failure and Its Avoidance Strategies

跨文化语用失误作为语用学和应用语言学研究的一个重要领域已引起越来越多中外学者的关注。基于对跨文化语用失误的进一步理解,依据英语专业学生语用失误现象表征,把本族语的强势影响、目标语文化知识的匮乏和缺乏足够的跨文化交际训练归结为造成专业学生跨文化语用失误的主要原因,并提出了相应的语用失误规避策略。

Cross-cultural pragmatic failure has recently drawn more and more attention from scholars at home and abroad as an important domain in both Pragmatics and Applied Linguistics. Based on the further interpretation of the concept, this paper surnmarizes the major causes which lead to the different tokens of pragmatic failure among English major students in their cross-cultural commnunication, that is, the strong influence from their mother tongue, lack of knowledge of target language and not enough practice in cross-cultural communication. Finally some avoidance strategies have been brought forward.
