摘要 现有的本体定义很难满足目前的研究和应用需求,甚至阻碍人们对本体的正确认识。首先从本体的哲学渊源入手,分析了传统本体论与本体工程的区别和联系;其次,以现有的本体定义为基础,从便于创建、重用和共享的角度提出了一个本体定义,讨论了基于构件的形式化定义;第三,把本体置于其生命周期中以动态的观点看本体;第四,分析了本体和知识库之间的关系;最后给出了新的本体分类方法。 The existing definitions of ontology cannot meet the needs of the present researches and applications and even cumber people to understand ontology correctly. This paper firstly analyzes the distinctions and the relations between traditional ontology and ontology engineering beginning with the origin of ontology; then, proposes a new definition of ontology on the basis of the definitions of ontology presented in literatures for convenience in creating, reusing, and sharing it, and discusses the limitations of the formal definitions of ontology; thirdly, observes ontology in its life cycle from dynamic perspective; Fourth, analyzes the relations between ontology and knowledge base; Finally, sets forth a new classification method of ontology based on the preceding work.
